It gets really tiring to me with the comparisons that are not in good faith regarding black people. Other people of color go through this as well I'm sure. I sometimes wonder why I bother responding but it really angers me. What angers me is that for the most part black people do very little different than other races. This is the point at which, of course, someone comes in with the statistics...
more blacks are in prison, have more out of wedlock births, graduate high school less
OK, so where is the proof that others commit crime less, get pregnant less...
There is proof of one group getting probation instead of prison time more, having more access to medical care and by proxy prescription birth control, have better schools. But what am I saying, I need to get with the program and understand the status quo. Time to tow the line black folks, you have to work harder to be considered half as good and perfect to be considered normal. It would appear we do not have the infrastructure to afford regular humanity and the possible mistakes or bad luck that comes with life. It does not matter if others "do it too" we must make the same number of bricks with no straw.
